From the video, it appears that the X50 Pro will sport a rectangular camera island with four sensors on its back. The first thing you’d notice is the main camera (believed to feature the GN1), which is the largest of the four and is situated on the very top. Right below it is a row of two unspecified sensors, and on the bottom is expected to be a telephoto camera.
However, the company did not reveal anymore than that. For now, it’s uncertain if the phone’s front display will sport a notch or punch-hole cutout for its selfie camera, and its hardware specifications are unknown.
It is likely that the X50 Pro will focus on the new Samsung ISOCELL GN1 Sensor as its main selling point, which is seen in the aforementioned video where the camera sensor’s low-light performance is highlighted. As previously reported, the ISOCELL GN1 is a 50MP sensor with a pixel size of 1.2μm, and includes dual-pixel autofocus (AF) and Tetracell pixel-binning technologies.
The Vivo X50 Pro launch date has not been disclosed by the company just yet. Seeing that its marketing had recently kicked off, it’s expected that Vivo will be announcing the new smartphone’s full unveiling sometime soon.
