Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Also Gets Ray Tracing With 60fps

Last week, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales got the Performance RT option. With some tradeoffs, this allowed the game to run with ray tracing and 60fps at the same time. Now, it looks like the remastered version of the Spider-Man is getting the same mode.

And it’s pretty much exactly the same thing with the base Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered too. In a screenshot shared by Push Square, the name of the mode is the same, called Performance RT. And its description reads the same as well, made possible by “adjusting the scene resolution, reflection quality, and pedestrian density”.

All in all, not too surprising a development. After all, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered does come with the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales. And with the two games running on pretty much the same backbone, it’s no surprise that both will get the same mode, and in such a short interval between them.

At any rate, this means those playing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will also get to play the arguably longer game with the same in-between mode of graphical fidelity and performance. But as before, this will depend on if you’re willing to take the resolution and pedestrian density hit for it.
