Razer Launches Tomahawk Gaming Desktop PC; Starts From US$2399

Razer has officially launched its Tomahawk Gaming desktop PC. Designed around Intel’s Next Unit of Computing (NUC) concept, the desktop PC sports a small form factor design with an all-metal chassis, while still being completely modular.

Internally, the Tomahawk Gaming houses a 9th generation Intel Core i9-9980HK CPU with a base and boost clock of 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Flanking the processor is 16GB DDR4-2667MHz RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe Gen3 SSD and 2TB HDD.

Additionally, the chassis has enough room to house a low-profile GPU via its unpopulated PCIe x16 slot, and judging from its promotional images, the GPU would have to be around the size of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition card. Or anything smaller than that. Lastly, providing power to the entire system is a small form factor 750W PSU.

Moving on, the front of the Tomahawk Gaming shows off a clean aesthetic, with the Razer logo clearly embellished at the front. Around the back, the machine houses four USB-A 3.2 Gen2 port and two USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports, the latter also being Thunderbolt3 ports. Oh, and lest we forget, there are two 120mm fans installed within to keep the internals cool.

The Razer Tomahawk Gaming desktop PC is expected to be available for pre-order starting this month, with its starting price set at US$2399 (~RM9740). At the time of writing, no local availability date or pricing has been announced.
