Resident Evil Village Spoilers Are Already Popping Up Online

If you’re looking forward to the upcoming release of Resident Evil Village, you may want to be careful when wondering around the web. Spoilers for the game’s plot are already popping up online, according to reports.

Screenshots of what may be a dev build of the game have popped up online. The entire Resident Evil Village plot has also been summarised, with the cutscenes included as well. If you’d like to avoid spoilers like they were death incarnate, then it would probably be better to hold off from visiting sites like Reddit and ResetEra until you’ve played the game.

The circumstances behind the leaks are not yet clear. That being said, there’s a chance that these came from the hack that Capcom suffered last month.

Resident Evil Village doesn’t have an exact release date just yet, beyond 2021. But with these set of leaks, it’s safe to say that the year-long window is an accurate one. Best case scenario is that the game releases early in the year. On the flip side, imagine avoiding Reddit for a full year, until December 2021 in the name of avoiding spoilers.

But, if you’re the kind who enjoys spoilers then links to them can be found below. Of course, consider this whole article a spoiler warning before you click.
