After months of rumours, Samsung has officially revealed its tiny tracking device which is called the Galaxy SmartTag alongside the new Galaxy S21 flagship series last week. We already knew that it was coming to Malaysia since it is one of the freebies that the company provides to Galaxy S21 pre-order customers but you can now also purchase it as a separate product.
When it was first revealed as a freebie under the Galaxy S21 pre-order program, Samsung Malaysia had listed its price at RM 119. Interesting enough, you can now obtain it for slightly less at RM 79 through Samsung Malaysia’s official website.
However, only the standard edition of Galaxy SmartTag is available through the site at the moment. This particular version utilises Bluetooth while there is also another version called Galaxy SmartTag+ which is built with support for ultra-wideband.
While we have seen Galaxy SmartTag in several colourways during last week’s Unpacked event as well as marketing materials, only the black version of the tracker is currently listed by Samsung Malaysia and no multi-packs are being offered as well. If you are interested and want to learn more about it, just head on to its official Malaysian website right here.
