Aside from announcing new price and speed for its Home Fibre offerings in Sabah, Celcom has also revealed that existing customers in the state will be reverted to the new 100Mbps plan. This migration applies to all customers regardless of their existing plan.
In other words, existing Celcom Home Fibre customers will not only receive a speed upgrade but also a reduction in their monthly priced depending on their current plan. This is due to the fact that the new 100Mbps plan is priced at RM 120 per month.
As a result, the connection speed for the current 10Mbps customers will soon become 10x faster without any changes to their monthly prices. On another hand, Celcom Home Fibre 20Mbps and 40Mbps will receive an upgrade of up to 5x their existing speed with reduced monthly payment since their plans are currently priced at RM 150 and RM 180 respectively.
