Originally launched in December 2020, the Apple AirPods Max wireless headphones have made their way to Malaysia earlier this month. If you somehow have damaged the headphones’ ear cushions or would like to have them in different colours, the company got you covered.
Apple has since released the replacement ear cushions through its Malaysian online store and as expected, they don’t come cheap at RM 349 per pair:
Users do not need any special tool to take out the ear cushions which were made from memory foam since they are magnetically mounted to the headphones and quite easy to remove. Aside from these ear cushions, the other first-party accessories that Apple has released for AirPods Max is the 3.5mm audio cable which costs RM 199.
The headphones themselves are priced at RM 2399 and it seems that the estimated delivery time for them is now much shorter at between four to five weeks on Apple Malaysia’s online store. Alternatively, you may also able to get them through local Apple retailers although stocks availability will vary from one retailer to another.
