Alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti With 4GB GDDR6 Memory Appears In ASUS Database

ASUS clearly has a problem with keeping the lid on sensitive information, especially when it comes to unconfirmed discrete GPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. Recently, the brand may have messed up again by prematurely revealing an RTX 3050 Ti on one of its product page.

The “accidental” product listing was first discovered by popular leakster and Twitter user 188号 (@momomo_us), who found the discrete GPU being listed under the Graphics tab of ASUS’ yet unreleased 2021 TUF Dash F15 gaming laptops. Furthermore, the material indicates that the RTX 3050 Ti will supposedly ship out with 4GB of GDDR6, along with it being one of three GPU options. The other two being an RTX 3060 and RTX 3070.

Unfortunately and as these things usually go, the RTX 3050 Ti is devoid of any further information; aside from the amount of graphics memory, the specifications table doesn’t divulge the GPU’s boost clock nor its overall power consumption when under stress.

The appearance of an RTX 3050 Ti is a little surprising, given the recent launch of NVIDIA’s mainstream RTX 3060. Of course, the usual disclaimer of salt consumption applies, but if this is true, it would be interesting to know how NVIDIA will market the GPU’s ray-tracing prowess under the entry-level market segment.
