Xiaomi Mi 11 Goes Official: Features Snapdragon 888, 120Hz AMOLED Display, 108MP Camera

Following its declaration back at Snapdragon Tech Summit earlier this yearXiaomi has officially launched its latest flagship model, the Mi 11. The new device is generally the first Snapdragon 888 phone in the world.

Aside from being equipped with Qualcomm’s newest premium-class 5nm processor and Snapdragon X60 5G modem, the Mi 11 also comes together with a 6.81-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display that also has 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 480Hz. The HDR 10+ display also has a maximum brightness level of 1500nits and is protected by Corning Glass Victus.

Not only that, the in-display fingerprint scanner of Mi 11 can also act as a heart rate sensor. There is also a punch-hole 20MP f/2.4 selfie camera on the top left part of the screen.

On its back, the Mi 11 is also equipped with a 108MP f/1.85 main camera alongside a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera and another 5MP f/2.4 telemacro camera. Together with dual speakers that are tuned by Harman Kardon, completing the general specifications of Xiaomi’s latest pride and joy is a 4600mAh battery.

With the help of the Mi TurboCharge 55W charger, Mi 11 can be fully charged in just 45 minutes or 53 minutes if charged through a 50W wireless charger. Speaking about chargers, Xiaomi will no longer include a power brick alongside the new phone as a standard in China but weird enough, customers can purchase the Mi 11 bundle edition which does include a 55W GaN charger at the same price as per standard edition.

Pricewise, the Mi 11 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage goes for RMB 3999 (~RM 2479) while the 256GB variant is listed at RMB 4299 (~RM 2666). There is also another variant which features 12GB of RAM, 256GB, and RMB 4699 (~RM 2914) price tag although Xiaomi has yet to announce Mi 11’s availability to markets outside China for the time being.
